Harm of counterfeit auto parts

For car owners, nothing is more important than the health of the car, so what waxing, glaze sealing are all expensive, but often neglect the basic maintenance of the car. Many car owners like to repair the car in repair places such as auto parts city, but do not know that if they carelessly use counterfeit parts, they will cause serious damage to the car, the following Taizhou Delivery Machinery is limited. The company will introduce to you some common differences in quality and performance between genuine and fake parts.

Air filter

There is little difference between real and fake parts in appearance, but there is great difference in performance.

(1) From the point of view of filtering performance, the filtering performance of pure brand parts is about 10 times higher than that of counterfeit parts.

(2) From the dimension point of view, pure brand parts are more in line with the specifications required by vehicles than counterfeit parts.

(3) In terms of service life, the service life of pure brand parts is 2 times longer than that of counterfeit parts.

Harm: Long-term use of counterfeit air filters will cause a large amount of dust into the engine, causing serious damage to the engine.

Brake pads

(1) Performance comparison: After the experiment, the brake distance of the car with fake brake pads is 30% longer than that with pure brake pads.

(2) Comparison of heat resistance: The fake brake pads have bad heat resistance, which results in the friction pads falling off from the metal plate at high temperature for a long time, which affects the braking effect.

Harm: Brake pads are the most important parts to ensure human safety. If using counterfeit brake pads, it is likely to cause braking failure in driving, unable to control the speed and bring serious consequences.

Spark plug

(1) Thermal conductivity: From the point of view of the central electrode of spark plug, the central electrode of pure brand spark plug is made of copper material, which can achieve the best thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity of counterfeit spark plug is much worse than that of pure brand parts.

(2) Heat resistance: The heat resistance of pure spark plug is 2 times higher than that of counterfeit spark plug through heat resistance test.

Harm: Long-term use of counterfeit low-quality spark plugs is likely to lead to electrode melting and engine damage.

As consumers can not recognize the obvious difference between counterfeit parts and pure brand parts from the appearance, so when choosing parts, you must go to the designated distributor to buy pure brand parts, so that you can use them safely and drive safely!

How to judge whether the brake pads should be replaced

Traffic safety has always been the most concerned topic of owners, especially now more and more cars, if you drive a little carelessly at ordinary times, it is likely to lead to a major accident. Especially when running at high speed, the speed of getting on the car at high speed is very fast. When driving, the car owners must concentrate on driving, and must not be careless. Therefore, many car owners say that running high speed is really a very tiring thing.

For the car, the performance of the good or bad effect is not too big, may not be accelerated when the blood spray back feeling, even in full load state climbing will feel a little laborious. But the importance of some parts on the car can not be neglected, such as the brake pads which play a very important role in the brake system, time will definitely involve replacement. So, how to judge whether the brake pads should be replaced? Old Driver: There are three ways to do it easily!

First, listen to the sound of the brake. If you can hear the scream of the friction between iron and iron when you brake lightly, it means that the brake pads have to be replaced. In fact, from the principle of the brake pad, we can also know that at this time the brake pad has actually rubbed directly with the brake pad, exceeding the limit of use, if not replaced in time, it is likely that the brake failure will occur. In addition, while replacing the brake pads, the owners should also check the brake disc to see if the brake disc is also worn. If the brake disc is also worn seriously, in case the brake disc should be replaced together.

Secondly, you can check the thickness of the brake pads. The brake pad is made of a certain thickness, and with constant use of friction, the thickness will continue to decrease. Owners can check the thickness of the brake pads. Generally speaking, the thickness of the new brake pads is about 15 mm, and the maximum wear limit is about one third. That is to say, if the brake pads wear down to only 5 mm, it must be replaced at this time. In addition, due to the relative friction between the brake pads and the brake discs, the wear of the brake pads is serious. At the same time, the owners should also check that the brake discs are beyond the wear limit.

The last point is relatively difficult, requiring the owner to feel, that is, to see the brake travel and foot feel at the same time, many old drivers do the same. When the brake pad is used for a long time, the response of the brake system after stepping on the brake will be slow, and the force required for the brake will become smaller, giving the impression that the brake can not be braked. In addition, in addition to brake pads need to be replaced, car owners also need to check the brake oil regularly, so as to ensure that the normal driving time is safe!

How often do you change the brake oil?

The replacement cycle of brake oil is usually determined according to the time. Most automobiles require replacement once every two years, but there is no special requirement for mileage. If we want to know more accurately whether the brake oil needs to be replaced, the best way is to test the moisture content of the brake oil. If this value exceeds 3%, we suggest replacing it; if the moisture content exceeds 5%, it must be replaced.

Normally, the moisture content of brake oil is less than 1%. If it is too high, the boiling point of brake oil will be lowered, which will lead to boiling vaporization of brake oil and brake failure in high-strength braking of automobiles. Experiments show that when the water content of brake oil reaches 3%, the boiling point of brake oil will be reduced by 25%. If the water content of brake oil reaches 7-8%, the boiling point of brake oil will be reduced by more than 50%. For example, the dry boiling point of some brake oil is 210 C. When the water content exceeds 3%, the boiling point has been reduced to 152 C. If the water content of the brake oil reaches 7-8%, the boiling point may have been reduced to about 100 C.

How long will the water content of brake oil exceed the standard? Experiments show that when a new car runs for 12 months, its brake oil may inhale about 2% of the water; when it runs for 18 months, the water content can reach 3%; when it runs for more than five years, the water content of the brake oil will reach 7-8%. If the water content is more than 3%, we suggest replacing it. This is also the reason why many automobile manufacturers stipulate that brake oil should be replaced once every two years.

Of course, you can also appropriately extend or shorten the replacement cycle according to the local environment and personal use conditions. If the local climate is dry and personal driving is not intense, it is no problem to replace the brake oil for three or four years; if the local climate is very humid or often wading, it is recommended to shorten the replacement cycle properly, preferably once a year.
